They are great tone machines, how ever tendonitis means that I'm considering picking up a short scale bass so these have to go to fund it. These are 8 ohm and sound great. The Bagend and the Smith belong to a mate of mine, lovely set up. We did a tone workshop with some students. We have (as you can tell from the gear) very different ideas on getting the same thing......ace bass tones:)
