newbass1000
Me and my band have recently boldly decided to set up a home studio, With us all buying individual recording gear ( I.e Drummer buys drum mics ) and chipping in on the software/mixing desk, I'm not sure what my options are for recording gear, any suggestions? Bankai
A decent DI if you don't already own one. Look into the Sansamp models or alternatively an MXR M80 if you're on a bit of a budget.
StraightSix
This is a potentially mammoth question with a multitude of possible answers... Where are you setting the studio up...? How many in the band...? Do you want to record live drums (I assume so cos of the drum mics you mentioned)...? Do you want to record live or overdub...? What's your budget...? Etc etc...
