MythSte
Just one of those thoughts that popped into my head today, I saw a USA off white strat with a maple neck and thought to myself... man, if i was a guitarist!! I really like traditional Fender guitars, yet i really cant get on with traditional basses, i mean, i play a bongo! So if you where (or are, though i wouldnt admit to it myself!) a guitarist what stick would you have and is it to a similar vein as any basses you own or would like to own? Answers on a postcard! ahpook
i've got a mid-80's squire tele, but i hanker after a fender jag
Jono Bolton
I have a Squier Tele Deluxe with a Strat neck on it, that's pretty nice. I'm in the process of re-building my strat too, need a few more bits and bobs and I can start soldering. Would love a Jazzmaster, maybe a white or sunburst standard Tele with a maple neck. On the Gibson side of things, an SG in brown or cherry would be schweeeeeeet! I've been listening to Fugazi - Repeater a lot recently and there's a picture of Guy Piciotto playing a Las Paul Junior, wouldn't mind one of them either. OutToPlayJazz
I'm only a hobbyist guitarist, but I have a lovely Epiphone Les Paul '56 GoldTop with creamy sounding P90's. Relation to my basses? Perhaps just a polar opposite to my modern sounding basses?

Kiwi
I have a custom HSS strat that I got for a cheap price considering it has a 2 piece SOLID quilted maple body. I'm in the process of slowly upgrading it, just sticking EMG's in it transformed the guitar. If anyone is interested in a loaded scratch plate with Seymore Duncans in it, feel free to drop me a PM. (in original condition) Upgrades will be (in order) 1) refret and natural refinish the ESP supplied maple neck (or get a replacement neck if its cheaper) 2) Wilkinson VS100CV convertible tremolo 3) Body refin to purple sunset tint (a bit like on the Steve Morse sig guitar)
Tech
I've got a pair of Jackson PS performers... one of them is a bit of a rebuild after my dad went schizo and smashed it to bits, that was originally a PS2 Concept, and the other is a PS4 performer. the former is a dull metallic red (was originally glossy black... man i miss that axe the way it was...) and the latter is trans red over flame maple. both have EMGs in the bridge position... lush =D

alexclaber
I seem to be happiest, and write many a song, on nylon strung classical ones, though I don't own my own one. Alex

Predictable probably, but after playing my friend Chris' guitar (bloke who owns the studio where we had the NW Bash) I can't imagine anything being as comfortable.
