Mzungu71 Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I just got one of these and stuck it on my 4003. Have to say, they are fantastic Any Ric owners out there, get yourself one of these So much better to play now That is all Gary Quote
beely Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 (edited) I put one of these on my 4001 a couple of years ago. Have to agree, it is superb, much better than the original. I was having problems getting the intonation correct. The new bridge sorted that out. It is now so easy to set the action/intonation/string spacing. Can't recommend this highly enough. [/quote] I've taped mine to the bridge, it does hum a little though to be honest, but I am trying to persuade a friend to solder it for me Quote
bassmachine2112 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 hiho, just stick it under the bridge when you tighten the screws down-mine has been like this for years. Quote
bassmachine2112 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 it does work due to the solder being very hard to stick to the bridge Quote
