bouvier
[attachment=94444:P0.JPG]On HOLD for Trade. 1969 Fender Precision Candy Apple Red with Maple Neck and Fretboard. This P Bass has an "A" Jazz profile neck not like the usual chunky P Bass neck. The Bass is original except for the fantastic body refinish by John Elliott at Bravewood Guitars. The bass was originally Candy Apple Red but had been overpainted and the paint looked flat and uneven. The heel of the neck was repaired by John at the same time as the body was refinished. Before and After pictures of the repair.[attachment=94446:Before.JPG][attachment=94447:After.jpg]It was decided to leave the finish on the neck original. [attachment=94508:neck1.JPG][attachment=94448:P10.JPG][attachment=94449:P9.JPG][attachment=94450:P6.JPG][attachment=94509:neck.JPG] The Neck Plate, Tuners, Bridge, Pick Guard (Mother of Toilet Seat on Reverse), Thumb Rest, Pots, Pickups and Both Pickup Covers are all original to the Bass.[attachment=94484:neckplate.JPG][attachment=94453:tuner.JPG][attachment=94454:MVC-045S.JPG][attachment=94455:pickguard.JPG][attachment=94456:pickguard1.JPG][attachment=94458:P13.JPG][attachment=94459:pots.JPG][attachment=94460:Pickups.JPG][attachment=94461:picups1.JPG][attachment=94496:pups.JPG] Overall a fantastic Bass fitted with new Flatwounds sounds and looks superb. The quality of relicing is second to none.[attachment=94462:P1.JPG][attachment=94463:P2.JPG][attachment=94464:P4.JPG][attachment=94465:P7.JPG][attachment=94466:P14.JPG][attachment=94467:P15.JPG] Looking to trade for either:[list] [*]Gibson 58 - 59 - 335 VOS, 1960s SG Junior [*]Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster - Esquire - Nocaster [*]PRS Custom 22 [*]Klon Centaur Overdrive - Pete Cornish SS2 or SS3 - Analogman KOT - Lovetone Big Cheese [*]Matchless Avalon or Chieftain [*]A good quality six stringer or 4 bass plus cash. andy67
That is just beautiful! Huge kudos from me and if had a trade or money to offer it would be mine! Also, what a job John at bravewood did on repairing the damage. Wow!

MM Stingray 62
This is an absolutely fabulous bass, really punchy - the pickups sound fantastic - looks even better in the flesh than in the pictures a fantastic bass that will not disappoint .
