Ghost_Bass
You need to take the head appart from the enclosure and look at the back of the pot, there should be printed it's value but i would bet in something like a linear 500k pot (b500k). It's very easy to replacee if you know a bit about soldering, just cut the three connectors of the pot with a small cutter and with the soldering iron remove the bits soldered to the pcb, then solder the new pot. You should see what size is the existing pot and the shaft type (most likely split shaft) so that you buy an exact replacement. If you had any doubts with anything i've written appart from my english spelling then you would be better off taking it to a local repair shop and get them to do the job for you. If you really want an exact Trace replacement here's a good place to find all the bits: http://www.britishaudioservice.com/parts.php?mfg=1&cat=14 Mind it's a US site, someone here could point you to a UK one!
