tayste_2000 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 (edited) Was in the studio last week and was restringing my basses quite regularly and found these that are surplus to requirements, basically I use to use them string 34inch scale basses up for DGCF tuning but now I'm using 36 inch scale basses they are no longer needed, they were custom order in bulk from Overwater a while ago and there is no other way to get these strings in these gauges from them. They are great strings and I am still using Overwater's 5 string sets, all strings are stainless steel, never been used etc. £12 per set inc shipping Will discount for multiple purchases. Cheers Edited January 19, 2012 by tayste_2000
tayste_2000 Posted January 12, 2012 Author Posted January 12, 2012 Really no one who detunes or wants a really solid string? Pino uses 50-110's
alyctes Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) Hi Are these roundwounds, or flatwounds? thanks Edited January 12, 2012 by alyctes
tayste_2000 Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Sorry missed this message. They are all round wound
Conan Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I fancy that gauge, but am totally unfamiliar with Overwater strings. How do they compare (in terms of quality, longevity, tone, etc) with other brands? I particularly favour DRs at the moment...
tayste_2000 Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Personally I've found them better than any other string and I've been offered a few under endorsement terms The full on zing of Stainless Steel goes after about 2 weeks but then I've run them for months without feeling them go dead, but that's my opinions. They are a million miles better than Elite or Rotosound and Elixir that I've tried. Like I say I still exclusively use Overwater strings just on 5 strings
tayste_2000 Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 I wouldn't have thought so, I haven't needed to on any of my basses. Forgot to say 2 sold 2 left
