Benplaysbass
Well I think thats what they are called, stage box/stage loom or similar. Has anyone made one? I was trying to clear up my act and have all my gear set up behind me in the rack. But BV's are in order for the new band so with the prospect of having a mic stand in front of me, thought I might as well have my zoom pedal there too. But really don't want all the wires so thought about knocking up a loom for the send and return, mic and power for the pedal. Will I get any problems running those together with interference issues. steve
I've been using a home made one for quite a while now between my board and rig without any problems. Mine sends 9V AC and 9V DC to the board with the audio signal from the board to the rig. Never had interference issues.
Benplaysbass
Think the zoom is 12v and is the usual transformer, how did you make your power leads long enough? Would it lose any voltage over a long length? Just thinking about cutting the wire off the transformer and putting a long bit in the middle. I've got two power supplies so might give it a go with one and test it.
Benplaysbass
I've no idea why I thought the pedal was 12v, just looked and its 9v and just found some dc extension leads online so will give them a go.
