Sean.Robinson
Hi, up for sale is a one off 8 string Fender P bass. This was converted to a 8 string by Jon Shuker and the work is fantastic, it plays like a dream. As great as it is, Christmas is coming up and like a lot of us the I've bills to pay too so unfortunately this has to go. Its in excellent condition, also comes with gold anodized pickguard and the neck has also been re-lacquered too. I'm looking for £380 ono Pics:
Ou7shined
Nice one. I love what you (or Jon) have done with the extra tuners so it doesn't spoil the original front on aesthetic.
warwickhunt
Do you have to use a screwdriver to adjust the octave strings?

dmccombe7
I'm very interested (nosey) to find out what happened with this. Not as if seller was new to BC although sending to Germany at this time of year Buyer also several posts so what went wrong. ? Missing in post. ? Didn't get paid ? Didn't send ? As a regular user myself on BC it would be nice to know that as fellow bassists we can trust each other. Dave

73Jazz
It is a shame! I always made very good experience on bc so far, but this one is a shame. I send the money on 11th of december and sean confirmed on 14th that he got my money. Due to currency exchange there were bank fees on sellers side which i also took care of, This money i send over paypal, so i had his emailadress as well. Sean told me the postage will take 2 days to my adress. On 19th december i asked via basschat if he has got a tracking id and also for the date of postage. No answer. On 23rd december i posted here on bc, see above. No answer. On 26th i tried to contact him via email. Then he answered. He told me, that he had forgotten to send me the bass(!). Unfortunately he is over christmas and new year at his family, But he will send the bass the next days. On 4th januar i send him an email again, if there are any news. No answer. On 6th januar i again wrote him an email, Telling him that i am more than disappointed and recommend him To answer my mails and send the bass asap or i will take further steps. No answer. This is what i am telling you sean. From this day on, you have 10 days to send me my money or my bass, Otherwise i will contact german police and a lawyer. the boy
Fooking ell mate that's terrible. I had a dispute lately that the moderators sorted out super quick. Why don't you ask them to intervene.

the boy
Of course I agree but you've given him three-4 weeks. I found the moderators really helpful they didn't take sides they simply acted as a go between.
It was me that sorted out the boy's dispute, so I'll make a few enquiries about this if 73 Jazz is cool with it. Sean's not been on since 14th of December from what I can see, so I'm not holding my breath, but we'll see. 73 Jazz, you have a PM.

HazBeen
Just read this post.... wow, what a terrible situation. I hope the moderators do what they can to help, as someone with 500 posts would be deemed "safe" by most of us. I did some cyber sleuthing on this Sean.Robinson and it seems he is a bit of a BMW nut. Anyway, 73Jazz, going through his online footprint i found his home phone number and will PM this to you.
