Faithless Posted December 9, 2011 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Hey guys, Anyone had previous experience with these guys - http://www.visionguitars.co.uk/ ? I've ordered a small A/B switch box some two weeks ago, and usually stuff from UK to LTU comes no longer than a week. I thought that it was our local courriers' fault, because they usually do a poor job handling packages, but I've emailed those guys at VisionGuitars yesterday asking about what courrier did they use, so that I can get a better idea, who's handling my package down here, in Lithuania, but they don't seem to be too quick with responding. I wouldnt be complaining, but I have my TV record sessions coming up next week, and I have to use both synth and electric basses, which means too much fiddling around without that damn AB Box.. any input appreciated, Laimis Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm writing them once again, but if this silence continues, I'll have to open a dispute in Paypal I think.. Any experiences with this? Well, their email SHOULD be working, or if it's broke they'd spot it I think - in the end, I'm the only customer in the world emailing them, am I? Faithless Posted December 14, 2011 Author Share Posted December 14, 2011 Hey folks, Finally, after two week wait, I got an annoucement from local post office, that my box has arrived. The problem is, when I really turn my amp (Genz Benz) up, (and I have to, in a band situation), when I try to switch between instruments using that AB switch, at the moment of pushing the switch knob, there's a noticeable, semi-loud 'tick'. It also happens even with instruments' volume knobs completely off. I'm not expecting something major from a 15 pound-thing, but hey, it's an AB box, it cannot be simpler in wiring such a thing, but I'm doing pop shows on TV where such stuff (side 'ticks' and other unwanted noises) just cant happen,period. I mean, are those unwanted noises during switch are common in these AB boxes? I'll be contacting seller, I'll let you know.
