Mark Sultana
Hi there. I've had this forum reccomended to me by a member of your community, we sadly are losing our Brazillian 6 string bassist after a year and a half and 150 great paid gigs. Our website is here www.doodlebugmusic.co.uk See where we play and what we play and listen to some of our work What we're looking for: You need to be south of the river and have your own reliable transport Professionalism A good attitude Excellent english Good on stage presence, you need to move and have fun - we deliver energy. Excellent harmony and lead vocals Solid but with flair and melody A flexible rig option - big and small, you will be running a small rig and DI ing into the PA a lot of the time to save space We need to be your main band and you need to be available for mid-week special events as well as regular fri/sat work You must be very presentable, friendly and able to deal with audiences and clients We will have some gigs that will require a sound check in central london by 6:30pm Technically competent (what wire goes where and the theories behind running a PA with a crossover and active sub) We use all EV Stage 200's and Martin Audio for sound reinforcment and run an amazing PA capable of covering if your amp dies with redundancy and reliabiltiy. What do you get? Pub gigs: £70-90 London Clubs £90 -£120 Weddings: Up to £150 NYE: £150 We played 100 gigs in 2011 you would have made around £700 for December 2011 You will also play in our big function band The Six million dollar band with a female vocalist. This is job not a hobby, you are part of reasnoably well funded entrerenurial team that are always finding new ways to get gigs and more work. Contact "] Demos a must. Edited December 12, 2011 by Mark Sultana

oldslapper
Which river?
The Amazon I would imagine, he was Brazilian. However, they do seem to gig in central London, so second guess the Thames. Best wishes with the search for a new bass player by the way. Higgie
Hi Mark, James here!! Just wanted to let any prospective players know I have worked with Mark in the past, and he and John the guitarist are a cool couple of guys - this is a fun gig with what seems to be plenty of work available. A great opportunity for the right player. Good luck!
