Nash basses

has anyone seen / played on one of these??


im probably gonna start some kind of arguement but............the "relic" process on these can look sooooo over done!


any thoughts? experiences?

I've seen one guitar - looked pretty good, provided you like the "fake old" thing. I've seen pics of his basses, and I don't like the necks - he seems to take all the finish off the middle of the neck and leaves it pale/unfinished. Most of the really old basses I've seen haven't worn this badly, or are dark/dirty rather than pale...but it's hard to know without seeing one for real. My guess is he leaves it barely sealed and expects to get dirty/worn from playing?
