eubassix Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 (edited) Sadowsky Tokyo RA Jazz Bass Lined Fretless 4 sold Edited April 23, 2012 by eubassix
Schnozzalee Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) Bargain, Dave's always got quality gear at a great price - BUMP!!! EDIT: vintage white and a spotless f-board is a great finish ALSO I've owned several fretless basses and the sturdiness of a carbon neck maintaining your setup is highly beneficial. I'm not a fan of the carbon board sound, i think it lacks warmth/vintage tone, so this would be a perfect bass for myself. Edited January 7, 2012 by Schnozzalee
bubinga5 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Dave are these as good playability wise to the graphite necked one that i go t from you.... with a different tone?
MM Stingray 62 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I've played this bass, it plays & sounds fantastic. Whoever is lucky enough to get this, won't be disapppointed.
mckendrick Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Lovin that Sadowsky, Dave. Seriously good price too, Sir. Have a bump.
tournesol74 Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi Dave, I'm interested in your Sadowsky fretless, would you be interested in trade ? http://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=728795 http://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=739795 http://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=742345 http://www.zikinf.com/annonces/dispannonce.php?annonce=744717 thanks
warwickhunt Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 What's the weight on the Modulus David?
pantherairsoft Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Dave, you've done it again. Managed to pull multiple awesome basses put from under the sofa at the same time! Lovely!
Beedster Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 £699 for a Modulus fretless..........? The World's gone crazy (and especially so as I don't have a spare £699)! Seriously, how have these two instruments not sold? The Sadowsky is no doubt an outstanding instrument, but the Modulus is something really special. I wish I could justify buying it.
SpinalTap Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I've been looking for a good fretless for a while, and the modulus seems like agreat bass. Question: Is the thumbrest placed by Modulus, or aftermarket?
ThomasBoyle Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Dave If the sadowsky sale falls through would be intrested in it as trade against my Wal Mk3 5 string on ebay
ThomasBoyle Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Hello, well I was told the bass fell over, but had been professionally repaired on close inspection its the faintest of lines..on the back of the headstock and one near the body I clearly wouldnt have parted with a substantial money if I thought there where any real issues to be concerned wth As stated the price reflects almost half price of another Mk3 that was for sale on ebay £4000 recently. It was purchased from BassDirect...i tried a large number of the best basses in store but the Wal had the notes had more focus and depth that low mid growl...of anything I tried and its the sound that just works live or in a mix... I will probally .going to keep the Wal as you always regret selling these amazing basses.. if the ebay thong falls through...let me know if you what to do a deal with the sadowsky plus £1,300..to exchange..for my Wal.. Cheers Tom
