LITTLEWING
Just thought I'd share my joy. Having gotten fed up with trying to get 'that' sound each time I set up in a venue, the bar guy brought out two plastic bottle crates and suggested getting my 4 x 10" off the wooden stage floor to help improve the sound. OMG!!! There it was all the time. Simply raising the rig a measly foot off the floor brought the whole sound higher to my hearing area and I played the rest of the night with the biggest grin on my face. (I somehow sort of found them in my car when I got home that night. Don't know HOW they got there, officer). Happy days!!
Bill Fitzmaurice
Tilting the cab back works too.
4 Strings
Had a similar experience, lack of space meant my cab went on top of the house system bass bin. Played the evening bemused I was getting away with the bass being so loud! £30 later I had a stand.
