chris_b
Married Carol King in the 70's and played bass in her band. ps Without the aid of google. He played bass on I Feel The Earth Move. Edited December 17, 2011 by chris_b
Happy Jack
Yup - he was the bass player on Tapestry, the biggest-selling solo album in history until knocked off the top by Thriller (a reasonable enough way to lose top spot). The bass line on So Far Away has always been one of my favourites. I just assumed it must be someone like Carol Kaye playing it. I mean, it's obvious it would be someone really, really famous, right, like a Joe Osborn or something. Never occurred to me to Google it until today, and I thought "Who?".
