ficelles Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Ok I have here a set of Super Silvers 140SS that I bought new which have been on my upright for a couple of months, played at home but never gigged and never bowed, lovely sound but I can't get on with the feel of nylon so have just fitted a set of Braideds. ficelles Posted December 21, 2011 Author Share Posted December 21, 2011 Well they don't feel anything like the chrome wrap Braideds I just fitted which I guess are much the same as Honeys... they feel I guess much like gut strings, i.e. slightly rough to the finger with some friction.
