barneyg42
I've just got back into playing again after 5 or so years off and having bought a fine JD roadie fretless from Rich I managed to get one of the above to practice with. I went to a jam last week with backline supplied and I'm hooked again! Now of course I've got major GAS but the bank manager is having none of it so I'm a bit restricted for a while until I get some funds together. Now this seems to be a good little amp but living in a flat with neighbours all around I can't really crank it without risking someone having a stroke or something (several elderly neighbours)! So the question is has anybody gigged or rehearsed with one of these babies, I'm into Blues/Rock/Pop type of stuff so I'm guessing anything I try for could vary in volume greatly. I don't want to turn up for an audition to find it sounds like a sparrow fart in a hurricane! Cheers Colin
