HI Emily,
Here in Herefordshire we have Ellie Goulding, some of Oysterband and some of Mott the Hoople.

Whereas my home town of Colchester gave the world three quarters of Blur (and Dave Rowntree was one year up from me at school and drumming with the Strategic Arms Quartet and then the Elastic Snap Band at the time) plus ........ Matt Cardle (with Olly Murs just down the road in Witham).

So you rate the Modern Player Jag then? That's one of my short list.

How could I forget Brian Jones? Doh!

You know any more from Gloucester?

Go out as far as Newent and you've got Joe Meek (which would probably account for "Telstar").

Hi, Emily, and welcome!
Bands from where I was born - Ilford - not a clue.
From where I am now - Tavistock - Seth Lakeman and my band, that's about it. Nope, there's the adorable Kitty & The Lost Boys. Mustn't forget them!
What a line-up!

Welcome Emily!
Best I can do from round these parts is Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, The Jam, The Stranglers, John's Children (who had Marc Bolan on guitar for a while) and John Lennon & George Harrison lived around here when they were in the Beatles.

Geoff Whitehorn, Justin Chancellor (Bass player from Tool) and.....er......Kelly Brook! (used to go drinking with her with a group of mates from school)

Welcome!

Yep, as a native of Plymouth I was dismayed at the poor showing from my hometown in the annals of pop!
