Thanks for the PMs - to confirm (I've editied the first post) - this bass has the super-slim 'Stanley' taper - it's 1.5" at the nut and 2.15" at the 24th fret

You big girl!! To be honest, if your Alembic was a longscale, i probably would have taken it, it looks fantastic, a bass you just know will even make someone with my limited ability sound good!!
