redbandit599
Hi all I've got a TC BH500 plus 210 and 212 cabs up for sale. It's a genuine sale, I got the chance of an EBS rig that I couldn't pass up on so this one has to go. I've had it since May and it's had only light use, there are some scuffs on one of the cabs and a couple of other minor blemishes, but not at all obvious and everything works perfectly. It's a big (although not particulary heavy), good sounding rig for not a lot of cash. I'm based near Colchester in Essex and collection or if feasable a mutually convenient drop off might be possible (this will depend if I'm coming your way for work.) It's up on E-bay too at the mo, so if you are interested let me know soon! Cheers Update as at 20.30 Weds 7th March:- Hi all, just to let you know that my rig is still available. I've relisted it on eBay starting at £600. If I get a cash offer for this from the forums then I'll end the eBay auction early (assuming that there are no bids of course) So if you are interested don't hang about! Call me on 07733 261736 as I'm not able to respond to pm's immediately. Thanks for looking, this rig deserves to be shaking windows of pubs, upsetting neighbours and making drummers deaf in one ear (er- guilty m'lud...) redbandit599
Hi all Just trying again with my rig. No idea how I managed to edit the title before, but up for grabs now for £700 cash (it's on Ebay too.) I've also trawled around on the chat room a bit (I'm not much of a chatter) and seen that there's been some controversy around TC's claimed wattage etc. The only thing I'll say is that I play rock and metal with two guitarists and a 'none too subtle' drummer and I've had to trim the bass frequencies back to avoid drowning everyone. With gain half way I can barely get above 3 on the master volume. Regardless of what wattage it is or isn't, this rig shifts a lot of air! Forget the numbers debate. My replacement rig is an EBS HD350 with 1x15 and 2x10 Neoline speakers. It's great and I love it, but if you are concerned about power and headroom, the TC is plain louder than my EBS rig (and you won't find many complaints about these in the volume department!) You can get me on 07733 261736. Hope a few of you have got paid after Christmas!! Cheers Jason
warwickhunt
Just an observation Jason but if your rig sellers on ebay for your start price you are going to be getting less than £600 for it! I'm not trying to tell you your business, just trying to give you a heads-up as you may not have given a thought to the various fees; the 10% final value fees and then potentially paypal fees means that you'd get shafted. redbandit599
Cheers mate, yep I've clocked that. But it's got to go and I got such a low response when I listed it on Basschat before that I need to get the thing moving. I've stipulated cash only on e-bay due to a previous experience with a time wasting, budding and dumb fraudster, so that will avoid the paypal fees at least. I've got quite a lot of 'watchers' already on the Ebay site (starting bid is £650), so am hoping for a bidding war! If someone from Basschat gets in with a sensible cash offer (like £700!) first I'll end the e-bay listing early. Thanks for the heads up though. I'd watch out for that 'Cash only' stipulation; strictly a no-no on ebay and something that they would pull your listing for sharpish! Added to which they can make you go through a poxy 'refresher course' before they let you list again, worst case they can suspend your account. karlfer
Not sure, but I have a feeling that if the FEEBay winner chooses to use PayPal, you may well have to accept it. As I said, not sure, but it may be worth checking out. Good luck anyway, Karl.

redbandit599
I think you may be right, I certainly have to offer Paypal. To be honest if the buyer seemed genuine, had a decent rating and feedback I'd probably go ahead, BUT, having had some right chancer (I doubt this guy would have known what a bass was if I'd smashed him over the head with my Sandberg California 5 - that's heavy!) try and de-fraud me using the Paypal route I've got to steer towards cash on collection. I've become well versed in the refund process for Paypal transactions!!
redbandit599
A 'it's back on E-bay' BUMP - Hope you've got your bankers/footballers/train bosses bonus burning a hole in your pocket.

redbandit599
Not at the moment, rather sell as a whole. If it doesn't go on eBay I might reconsider, what bits would you be interested in? Starting price for the lot is £650.
rockabillybob1
i cant understand why this hasnt sold they are awsome for bottom end clarity and punch ive got the bg 500 2x10 combo rated at 500 w and any gig i cant turn it up past 4 on the volume it destroys the stage with power and clarity
redbandit599
Thanks for the vote of confidence Bob! It is a beast of a rig, with the addition of the 212 the bottom end available is pretty ridiculous. I have to cut the bass frequencies on the eq just to keep other band members happy! Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to gig it, our drummer had time of with knee surgery and now he's just had a mini-stroke!! He's trying to blame bass frequencies for this of course.... Ebay auction finishes this evening, grab a bargain.

redbandit599
Hi there, nope it didn't sell on eBay. Despite all the watchers and daft questions. I've finally worked out how to amend this thread title so you'll see it's up for the bargain price of £650. I may consider splitting it up if I get sensible offers for all the parts. I'm sure that this thumping rig deserves a new home. I don't get to check in that often so please excuse any delays in response. Cheers

redbandit599
Hi again all, I've had a pm from a member who might be interested in the head. Any takers for the cabs? I can split for sensible offers, as I say I'd rather sell the lot for £600 cash, so use this as a guide for offers. 22 watchers but no bids as yet on eBay so I can still end early and sell via the forums. I'll only split if I have takers for all the parts. I'll check this again later tonight (Fri) but feel free to call or text on 07733 261736 Cheers
