Sort of but she was a regular round the working men's clubs of West Yorkshire (she's a Bradford lass) before she was known nationally as well as doing uncredited stuff for the BBC. Got her break as a solo artist on Rocket Records which is where Eltie comes in (did the same for Judie Tzuke too).
