Mic recommendations for cajon

We wish to start playing a cajon alongside a drum kit in our bands set and wonder if any of you out there have any ideas as to what would be the best mic to use? We tried a couple of mics from ebay recommended for a cajon, but it didn't work well, because of feedback and poor clarity of sound. Any ideas?

If you check YouTube for Ryan Sheridan live clips there might be a few closeups of his percussionist. He mics up his cajon and hand cymbals but I've never managed to get a close look at the gear.

We use one of these on our cajon http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?moduleno=228613 it's ridiculously cheap I know but it actually sounds pretty damn good! And clips on to the soundhole so you can just leave it there when you unplug after a gig.
