TorVic
I bought this bass on a whim, last year, from Clint. (Original sale thread: http://basschat.co.u...80#entry1279080) I was really surprised by the big, filling sound it has. It sounds great playing with a plectrum and finger-style. I would love to hold on to this bass but I have relocate due to changes in my work situation, and need to reduce the number of basses and also raise some funds for the move. I don't see myself really using this bass and hence am letting it go. Keeping with the BassChat code of conduct, I would like to get back what I spent buying it. The sale price is 320GBP. The strap and strap locks will also be included as I received them with the bass. (The gig bag is a new Ritter bag I bought for 20 - I could include it in the sale for an additional 10GBP.) I would prefer cash-on-collection in London. If you want it shipped, the packaging would be an issue and hard case would have to bought for it. (I have Warwick rock case on sale as well.) Full shipping cost will be borne by the buyer. You'll love the swirling grain pattern of the African Bubinga top and the great dynamic range that comes from select Mahogany body. The bolt-on neck is made of Maple and paired with a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Intonation and tuning could be a nightmare on an 8-string but the Dean 2 Piece Anchor Bridge System and a set of Grover tuners keep the Rhapsody 8 in line." It seems that Dean has stopped making this model. I could only find this review on their website: http://www.deanguita.../pages/rhap.htm There aren't too many of these available and could be a good collector's item. I will also try to record and add some sound samples.) Edited January 5, 2012 by TorVic
