matt_citizenbass Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 As detailed here: http://www.artrocker.tv/news/article/run-walk-to-record-debut-album-with-rolo-tomassi-producer Anyway, just started tracking bass tonight. This is my setup: Cabs are a home made 810, a hi-watt 412 and a matamp 115 cab. SOUNDS INSANE. xx Quote
AttitudeCastle Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 How is the Thunderverb for bass? Any soundclips of the bass just through the Thunderverb (or through both?) Either way will sound MASSIVE. Quote

It's mainly there to cover the top end that the AD200b doesn't cover (bass basically all cut) Quote
Musicman20 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Weird. I read that Internet article on you guys and J Sanderson this morning from Jason's Facebook update. Small world! Enjoy! Quote
quimbymeat Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 i made love with Jason a long time ago Quote
shizznit Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I have used an Orange Thunderverb (borrowed from a reluctant friend) for recording and the results were stunning. Got some lovely 'Mani' type tones from it. We didn't use any compressors at all...not even at the mix down. Just a battered MM Stingray with flatwounds, one 40ft lead and a microphone. I wish it was like that all the time! I hardly ever mic up a rig for recording, but on this occasion it sounded very cool. Quote
