simon1964 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Isn't that a 60s re-issue? If so, it would be worth mentioning that in the title and the post. Looks a very nice bass BTW.
bartczak.rafal Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 This is JB 62 model. http://fenderjapan.co.jp/jb62.html
shemeckfrac Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 ... it may be obvious to most so forgive my lack of knowledge on Fenders, but what is that line between the bridge pickup and the bridge? Nice one! Used to have exactly the same but MIA, regret trading it in.
its a copper earth grounding strip from the bridge to the pickups.. to make sure the bridge doesnt give you a shock, was used on the early 62's instead of the later drilling into the body
bartczak.rafal Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) This is a stripe of copper. Thanks bubinga5 for answer. Edited January 5, 2012 by bartczak.rafal
