This lot has a good chance of staying for a while. Picked up the JC-50 (from 1983) yesterday for €200 :)

I've heard good things about the new 'reissue' JC40. I've always liked the sound of them even when I wasn't a guitarist. Maybe one day I'll get one.

Owdo!! :D

Only just seen this. :P

At some point, I think so. ;)

Over the next two/three years, I am letting a lot of my stuff go - the earliest ones (in terms of then I bought them and still have them) would be 1974 and 1979 and the rest followed on - I have about a dozen instruments with "can I have first grab on it", so for this one - "you name vill go on ze lizt!" Pike!!
I can't remember how long I have had this one - I dig it out now and again and just drift away into 12 string heaven.
Sweet. B)

I'll put you name in the case - sorted!! :gas: :gas: :gas:

Cheers. :)

Here is my Fender Strat Hippocaster, Custom Shop 1992, #5/20... I bought it 2-3 years ago to a collector, in Sweden. I think i was lucky this day! :)

And another of my guitars, a Trussart Steelcaster, Paisley antique silver, with a TV Jones p-u and an Acrane:

I have some other little things, for another time :)

My Amps corner (now with a Tone King Falcon, turquoise too):

Fender BandMaster Reverb 74, Mesa Boogie Triaxis-2:90-GForce, Marshall 30th Anniv., on the right, it's a 78 Mesa Boogie Mk1.

Hi!

Yes, the guitar is very well done, great in details and the Arcane pickup is just amazing. Very responsive.
I bought it second hand. New, the price is too much for what it is anyway. 6-7000$, is really overpriced! But that's another thing :)

Wow a surfretter, glad to see someone else has one too. Do you play it much?
I haven't in recent years as I'm playing bass more often. I have used it on a few gigs in the past though but only for melodic stuff and the odd few chords. I also used it a few times when I was playing guitar in a reggae band as we had some indian melodies going on and that guitar was great for getting the expression in the lines.

Hi, I have two Surfreters, I will put some pics up of the other later on.

I'm a Vigier bass player, have been for 20 odd years, and I also play guitar and got into the Surfreters to try out and as you know they are a challenging guitar to play but very rewarding me thinks !!!
