[/quote] I resemble that remark! I had one of those bridges on a bass once and the saddles started to shatter/crumble for no apparent reason. It's poss that I just had duff castings or something, but it was a real surprise and a pain in the butt. Quote

I moved on the other one with an active circuit because I think (as has been said here), the original passive circuit is superb and doesn't need any embellishment... I have a set of Daddario tapes on mine now, truly gorgeous sound. Quote
