Higgie
http://youtu.be/rRPI9XSLnNc I've been trying to work on my sight reading so I thought I'd record myself trying to play this from the transcription in the "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" book. Using my trusty JV Precision again, into the PJB Bass Buddy and then into Logic. All comments and criticisms welcome!

DannyBAL_CPD
You're certainly feeling the groove.
Bilbo
I always call these tunes 'the ones we all do', because they are the first one in the book; Charlie Parker's Confirmation is another 'one we all do'. But, that aside, its nicely done. As a read, its not 100% perfect but, if you were on a gig, they would much prefer your feel to someone who didn't fell right but got every note right. Good work. Higgie
Cheers guys, Bilbo, I know it's not 100% perfect, but thanks for the compliment on the groove - I'm trying to get my reading up to scratch so that whether it's about the notes or the groove I still get the gig
