chrismuzz
Shine basses are ridiculously good for the money. This is bound to be the best deal on a Ric or Ric-a-like anyone'll see for a long time!
geofio
hi munkonthehill. well i will tell you this copy sounds better than half the rickenbackers i have owned , and i aint kidding, the e string on this bass is just awesome and it growls very nicely, i tried some new ricks in glasgow recently and most of them had dud e strings quite bad to be honest for the dosh you fork out. anyway whoever ends up with the shine will own a decent bass the pups are just fantastic on this. cheers george ps you still got your 4003?? Stacker
Every Ric I've owned - bar the 4001CS - had a weak output on the E. Which reminds me about this recommendation I heard that some Yanks are using. Must try it out on the V63. Good luck with the sale. Stag
My 4001 is weak on the E, but my 4003 is very very loud with the E. Oddness. Ive never seen a Shine take on the Ric before... Interesting
