simwells
Just wondered if anyone has experience of both of these? I'm after a Synth pedal at the moment and really like some of the sounds I've heard from the Super Synth but then the G5 seems a lot versatile but then doesn't seem to have the same low end that I've heard from the SS. Obviously the G5's also much larger and quicker to use as you don't need to cycle through presets but if anyone has any further insight that would be great. phil.i.stein
i haven't tried the MBSS, but do own a G5. the Korg does have a very slight overall volume drop, but with original signal blended, low-end can be retained. i tend to use blended fuzz on top courtesy of an MXR blowtotch, and it sounds massive. i've already posted this link before, but it's worth a read (and a listen). it's from one of the TB regulars - Gastric. (thanks to him, just in case he ever reads this) http://www.cgraham.com/chris/music/
