Lovely looking bass!
:)
But as Si says...the original pickguard would have been white on a CAR Fender in '65...maybe worth clarifying this for potential buyers? Best of luck with the sale!

Hi freaks

I know. :) The original guard is a white plastic pickguard. A greenish white nitro guard would not be correct for this bass . They were used before that period on custom colors, only until 1964. Anyway, i'll put a white one on it if I sell it :) Does anybody have one for sale ?

It is a beautiful bass but you need to be careful with some of the words you have used in the first post - is this bass 'all original'?

yepp..... all original with a white plastic guard, which i did put on another 66' P bass. If I sell the CAR, it will be sold with the plastic white guard ;)
