Kiwi Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 As of today, we've secured guitarchat.co.uk, synthchat.co.uk and drumchat.co.uk. What that means apart from collecting The Set? Not sure. Lets see what happens in the "Other Instruments" forum... Quote
charic Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Just another thought of one to add, vocalchat? Not a singer myself but I expect it could be another good one Quote
charic Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Also pedantic mode, will synth chat also cover non-synthesised keyboard instruments? Piano etc, also sampled keyboards etc Quote
Kiwi Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 I'll look for groupiechat - probably going to be the most popular...or maybe hats...?
Also pedantic mode, will synth chat also cover non-synthesised keyboard instruments? Piano etc, also sampled keyboards etc
Yes Mr Pedant. Only one forum for keyboards though. Keyboardchat and pianochat didn't have quite the same...informality. Vocalchat and Singingchat don't quite make sense...well, to me at least. Quote
charic Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Yeah, I figured only one forum. I just wondered whether all keyboard types were welcome Quote
Kiwi Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 I'm just the bass player, what would I know? Quote

waynepunkdude Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Also Scatchat could be a sub-forum of asschat. Quote

Dad3353 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 (edited)
...drumchat.co.uk...
Not to be confused with drumchat.com, an active US-based drum forum (who would have thought it, eh..?). Slightly churchy and twee, but I'm often on there despite that. There are some nice folks there... Edited January 9, 2012 by Dad3353 Quote
derrenleepoole Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I did think of 'Hornchat' might be good, you know, for woodwind players etc. But with that kind of name it could defo pull in the wrong sort of clientele Quote

Earbrass Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 How about basschat+1, so we can join in with particularly heated exchanges we just missed out on? Quote
xilddx Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 That's brilliant and I wondered if you were planning to register those given the thread last week. Quote
