imalrightjack Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 (edited) £300 with a gig bag. Collection preferred (Carlisle, Cumbria area), willing to drop off for a small fee (dependent on distance). Will also post. I'm not a bassist but bought this from a friend (who paid around £800 for it!) to record an album with (http://www.stevemcco...co.uk/mp3s.html - apologies for the shambling attempts to play bass...and sing...). Signature ‘Tobias’ body shape, this active, through-neck. Neck is a five piece sandwich of wenge and rock maple and, having a shallow ‘C’ profile is fast to play. Pickups are Tobias soapbar humbuckers, supposedly pretty much the best active tones for a bass competing in the mid-price market. Classy looks and extremely well built and finished. ◦ Manufacturer Gibson – Tobias ◦ Model Toby Pro ◦ Origin Korea ◦ Colour Natural (satin) ◦ Body Wood Maple ◦ Condition Very Good, no major blemishes/marks (minor scuffs) More images: http://img194.images...03/p1070719.jpg http://img854.images...6/p1070720m.jpg http://img192.images...7/p1070721e.jpg http://img51.imagesh.../p1070722qt.jpg http://img839.images...12/p1070723.jpg http://img812.images...5/p1070724n.jpg Edited January 10, 2012 by imalrightjack
Skybone Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Always liked the look of the Tobias basses, but that one's a beauty. Had a bolt neck Deluxe for a wee while, nice bass.
