mikegatward
I bought this 2 piece unfinished ash jazz body off a guy who had ordered it in from the U.S. but they had routed the pickup cutout wrongly They sent him another but never asked for this one back so he sold it on. The grain on this body is stunning so I bought it and had a wood working friend fix the routing issue. Was going to use it for a jazz build but then a fully loaded 75 reissue body tempted me No longer looking to recover the £125 it owes me, will take £100 posted Edited January 20, 2012 by mikegatward

the boy
Cheers buddy, I'm not sure how much luck you're gonna have without a brand name. I'm on the look out for a jazz body and if this was a known brand id be all over it. Thanks for gettin back to me. Good luck with the sale. Stacker
I got one of these off that seller. A lovely quilted maple top but goodness knows what pup template he was using! I got my money back on it, kept it and routed the pup cavities out a bit more. Seems he's sent out a few of these bodies with incorrect routs so he must be losing money hand over fist. mikegatward
Yep - thankfully i've a work colleague who's a dab hand at any woodwork project. A slightly nicer grain than the 75 RI body I got and will look lovely if left natural
