pietruszka Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Hmmmm, I wonder how safe that actually is? I think for peace of mind I'd still go to an audiologist. I however, do agree with you, it could hopefully bring down the cost of custom moulds. Good find though. Dan Quote
arthurhenry Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 You must get your ears looked at first, they have to be clear of wax. Quote

Dood Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Correctly made in-ears also have to go to a specific depth to help alleviate the 'occlusion effect'. Looking at the moulds in this video, I'd say they weren't anywhere near that required. Clever idea though, it'll work for staff in hifi shops chucking out cheap in ears for the general consumers. KevB Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 My first reaction, on watching it with no sound, was 'Is that what Sharleen Spiteri is up to these days' Quote
ahpook Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 i'd never let something like that near my ears without expert operating it. Quote
