The Salmon Man
Does anyone want a standing ticket for Thursday night? I have a spare going, face value only. Message me if interested Cheers!
jnoinkeis
So did anybody go last night? I thought they were bloody stunning and the double hit of Groundhog's Day and Wynona at the end left me smiling all the way home. Can't wait for tonight. Although Les's solo during Tommy The Cat did make me just want to put my bass down and try a different instrument.

TommyK
Right..anyone go last night? If so, which one of you reprebates stole Les' hat!!?? Amazing gig, I cannot comprehend how tight they were and the mix was just spot on..
jjay69
I woz there ! as they say, hat stealin son of a b*&%h Great gig, but i must admit to being a bit gutted that i hadn't gone on Wed now, I really wanted to hear Sailing the seas of cheese, Tommy the Cat in particular so i lucked out big time. Wasn't like that in the old days, if you saw a gig one night it was the same the next (more o less), i wasn't expecting that one.. Still, Les makes everything bass related look so damn easy. [/quote] simply excellent. for a wee moment, i thought les was going to butt out after the hat incident in a spoilt rock star fashion, but he reinstored my faith like a true f***ing bass player ! phil.i.stein
i'll bet some security bloke gets sacked for the hat thing.
Cameronj279
I was directly infront of Les both nights! The arse who stole Les's hat was told at least 5 times to sit down by the security guard before he ran on stage, he just seemed like a bit of a rude fan till he stole the hat. Wonder what happened to him...
Burg
Went both nights, thought they were amazing! Slightly disappointed they played some of the same songs both nights but they played most of my fave songs over the 2 nights so can't grumble. shizznit
I left feeling absolutely buzzed! What an awesome gig! The front of house sound was spot on and Les was on form. A life long ambition that I can finally put a tick next to! Really wished that Herb was on drums though.

I thought he was awesome on the night and I love his work on the new album. I thought that Brain before him was the mutts nuts too. Les wouldn't hire a crap drummer, that’s for sure. Herb is a stunning drummer and played on most of their best stuff, so I guess it’s a nostalgia thing more than anything else.
