xilddx Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) I thought I had better give GB a go at least, I usually use Reaper. Friends bought me a hand made tin drum from Trinidad, they watched it being made by an old geez. It sounds funky and I promised to record something with it for them. It was very quick and dirty, I did it last night. The tin pan sounds lovely! Really organic! It's all live, pretty much one take for each instrument. All the percussion is presents from friends, arabic drums, tambourine, darabuka, the tin pan, and I recorded them using the inbuilt mic on my little MacBook Pro. There is one AppleLoop - a long watery sound. I slinged a bit of bass and guitar over it, Bob's your aunty's bravvah http://soundcloud.com/silddx/tin-pan-1 Edited January 13, 2012 by silddx Quote
