wateroftyne Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) It's currently at Howard the Bass Doc's, getting a spruce up before I put it back up with more current pictures. Here's a peek from six years ago. Not that it's changed much since then... Edited January 14, 2012 by wateroftyne
Clarky Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Just beautiful. Hope this is going because you don't need it, not cos you have to sell
The Bass Doc Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Oh dear, I didn't realise you wanted it sold like that. I've already sawn the headstock off, painted it green Hammerite with a pink mirror scratchplate and fitted those EMC soapbars we discussed. Still two of the bridge saddles are original............

Do you want the headstock back on? I've got some Copydex glue I could try using.

Clarky Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Blue-tack does the job for me. My new line of modular basses is nearly ready, with removable wings, headstock and the bits that go round. Only wobbles at high volume
The Bass Doc Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012
Copydex Glue Howard!! --Why, Have you run out of Gaffa tape??
Now now, I think I know best. As a repairer and builder of basses of many years standing (and a few lying down) I recognise the practibility of using Copydex in this context. Consider the benefits to those who will want to do a bit of headstock bending for that 'tremolo' effect. Copydex will allow the flexibility better than say Titebond. Oh, btw, anyone know how to get out of one of those suits that tie round the back?
