garyleejohnson Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Greetings Everyone I'm Gary Lee Johnson, double-bass player for The Johnsons, Somerset's finest eight-piece country gospel band specialising in songs about Jesus, trains and substance abuse. I have joined at the instigation of my chum Dominic, who makes his own twin-necked bass guitars. In addition to owning a souped-up CCB (cheap Chinese double-bass), I own an acoustic bass guitar with knackered electrics, a Yamaha electric bass guitar and an early 1980s Wal passive bass, the latter of which I am about to sell. If there are any other double-bass players in Somerset, I would be happy to hear from them as I only switched to double-bass in 2005.
