BassHertz
Hi, I have a 5 string bass from Red Planet Guitars which has quite a wide neck. The original bridge had 15.5mm string spacing. I recently got 5 individual bridges so I could utilise this wide neck properly and spaced them at 19mm. My problem now is that the low B and High G strings are too far outside the pickup poles and now have a lower output than the rest of the strings. Is there a suitable replacement? Here you can see how bad it is. Although this is a cheapy ebay bass, it is actually very comfortable in my massive hands and I now realy like the 19mm string spacing. Darkstrike
Nordstrand make 'em, Delano and Seymour Duncan will do it as a custom option.
geoffbyrne
You'll need left-handed pickups for that.........
I'm not sure if that's a joke? Are the pole pieces different? Just realised, even if they were you could just flip them around. Sorry, idiot moment over. BassHertz
Thanks Darkstrike... but the Nordy's are a bit out of my price range right now...especially as I need two pickups Do you know if the Wilkinson MWM5C will do the job? fingerz
Give Kent Armstrong pups a call - they are well priced and will sort you out with any custom options.
Shockwave
I think you should be worrying the placement of the individual bridge peices more then the pickups! Look at the difference in placement between them!

BassBunny
Speak to Andy at Wizard Pick-ups. He can pretty much do anything.
