Fender American Highway One Jazz Bass Upgrade RW for sale

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I'm looking to potentially sell my Fender USA Jazz Bass. I've owned it since new and purchased it for around £600 last January. It's the honey blonde upgraded model with the Badass bridge. It's in good condition but has a few minor battle scars. I was chuffed with it for the money I paid but I sadly can't afford to keep it. I'm looking for around £420 or nearest offer plus shipping. Comes complete with documentation and Fender gig bag. Here's a photo of it (the American flag sticker that came with it has since been removed):

If you've got any questions let me know! Cheers for looking.

Looks nice, where are you based?

Aberdeen, but I'm in Edinburgh every second weekend. Happy to package up and ship too, provided I can find a box for it.

I didn't, but I did see one there when I was searching for a bass. This one is from a small store that specialised in orchestral instruments. Wish I could remember the name to recommend them because they were a pleasure to deal with!

ahh I played a similar on in guitar guitar about the time that you bought this- it was the best jazz they had- beat the US standards and Sadowskys by a long mile

Yeah, they're really nice instruments. I owned a Deluxe Jazz before this and I genuinely prefer this one. I'd keep it if I could afford to, but I don't play it enough to justify owning sadly.

Bump. Upon inspection it needs 2 new strings and has a couple more little marks on it than I realised (photos to follow soon!). Therefore price reduced to £400 or nearest offer.

The above photos show all the dings and marks I could spot on the bass. They are mainly based around the strap peg at the base of the body. Looking for £380 for this bass!

Fantastic basses, tremendous value for money, great feel and pups. A yank jazz at this price is a bloody STEAL.
Get it on FEEBay if you need rid quick, you will certainly get more than £380 plus postage for it. (Paisley freight would send it most places UK for about £15).
Good luck,
Karl.
