Spoombung Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 For some reason I am experiencing a sort of snow blindness of the ears today. I can't figure out what I'm playing at the end of this phrase: http://soundcloud.com/spoombung/part-of-riff-12-which-is My latest stuff is littered with these clashes and note clusters. I improvise them on the spot... then have to learn them later for rehearsals and gigs. It's causing me headaches. There a G a Bb and a Gb in there somewhere... Quote
Spoombung Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 I'm getting warmer... Half the trouble with bass is knowing what position you played it in in the first place.. Quote
matski Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I know what you mean - I do the same thing all the time.
Half the trouble with bass is knowing what position you played it in in the first place..
Yep, your fretting hand falls into place, and you have an "Aha!" moment. Quote
