I'd say that's pretty reasonable for a digital desk if it delivers. Also, from what I was reading it has multri track recording when connected to a computer do could be quite an investment if it's reliable! Quote
charic Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Save for the speakers too to make the complete setup. Line6 really are clever chaps Quote
Monckyman Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 For that money I`d go for the Behringer x32, due out later this year. Fully featured 32 ins 16 aux outs ,EQ ,comps, gates on everything. 4 very decent built in stereo FX. Klark teknik and Midas derived technology. It`ll piss yamaha off no end. Coming to a venue near you. Quote
The Dark Lord Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Behringer, Lada, Amstrad, Lidl Line 6, Audi, Bose, Waitrose Quote
Monckyman Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Behringer X32=Midas=Klark Technik=Marks&Spencer http://www.dv247.com/studio-equipment/behringer-x32-digital-mixer--81518 Seriously, these are aimed at cutting a swathe through Yamahas digital desk market. If it`s reliable, it`ll end up in every local venue and cost less than their outboard FX used to. Quote
Geddys nose Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Nice bit of innovation by Line 6 them new PA speakers look quite interesting too. Quote

BassBunny Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 The Line 6 jobbie looks like a sound engineers dream. No snakes to run to the back of the room. Leave the mixer on stage and control it from an iPad. Quote

Monckyman Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Most digital desks can be controlled via iPad now if they have an ethernet socket and a bit of software. I use an iPad with the Yamaha M7cl and I get to walk about the venue tweaking levels and eq And the behringer also works on a cat5 multicore and an onstage input box, so no heavy expensive multicore. I do like the line 6 though, but it looks like a bit of ransacked Romulan spaceship. MM Quote
