binky_bass
Hey guys I had this up in my giant list of guitars for sale, but it got quite a lot of attention by itself, so I'm going to list it on its own to maximise the possibility of a sale. It's a 1979 Ibanez Roadster 800 BK in jet black, its 33 years old and has a few dings here and there but nothing major. There are 2 screw holes as you can see from where I had a midi pick-up installed. She plays beautifully and there's a ton of tone coming out of the single coil pup. Its a maple board which is in great playing condition, as are the frets, the tone pot has a very slight crackle, very slight, but is silent when playing. I love this bass, and will be very sad to see her go, but I just don't play 4 string basses any more... I'm asking £300 for her, someone needs to play her and look after her. Russ. 07912222127 if you want to discuss anything/arrange a day to come trial her.
gjones
I saw a guy playing one of these a while ago and it had a fantastic sound, somewhere between a Stingray and a Fender P bass. Great basses. It made quite an impression.........as you can see http://basschat.co.uk/topic/156724-ibanez-roadsters-theyre-great-its-official/page__fromsearch__1 But I've calmed down now (and I'm also skint). binky_bass
They are sweet beasts! Don't want to let her go, but the additional money to fund a 6 or 7 stringer is needed...
