Blademan_98 Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 I was going to an audition today as the bassist in a function band. It was cancelled at the last minute - the third time in a row. So...... I went to see a covers band who I go and see whenever they are close by. Chatting to the band at the end it appears that they need a dep for certain gigs....... They have asked me to come along to a rehearsal and audition for the part I'm on cloud 9 tbh. I have my own band that is coming along nicely and wanted a second outlet. I love it when this kinda thing happens, had a similar situation with internships last year, when I didn't get the one I wanted, so instead found a grant from uni to develop my entrepreneurial endeavours, so it worked out great!
