Bridge position adjustment problem

My 'bitza jazz' needs the bridge moving down just a smidge for the string spacing to be just right. It plays fine but it bugs me when I look at it. The amount it has to move is probably less than a screw hole width so I wondered if anyone has a tip for moving the bridge this small amount. I wondered if glueing a match in the existing holes would drop it enough or if the bridge screws would find their way back into the old holes again. The (stellah) bridge has completely different hole positions to the original and there are a lot of screw holes down there now. I feel that perhaps I should remove the bridge and fill all the holes and start again but this would be a major job and I dont want to get into refinishing the body as well. Help?

Wow yeah, the fancy 3D Schaller bridge would solve my problems but it would be cheaper to just buy a new guitar! :D

Because I only need to move the bridge a very small amount, say 3/16th, I would not be able to drill new holes that close to the existing ones without filling and starting from scratch! Hmmph!

Dunno about that like! You can pick them up on ebay for £30 or there abouts.
