Prime_BASS Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 (edited) I want to move on my Warwick The bass: 2004 Double buck corvette Natural Oil finish 4 string Ovangkol neck wenge finger board. Ash body Active two band EQ Installed a Just-a-nut 3. Official warwick gigbag, manual, truss rod tool and the wax for the finish, will aslo throw in my waxing cloth. Has some buckle bumps on the back and a nasty looking scratch near the top side of the neckat the 7th fret marker.(pictured) which isn't drastic and it still sounds as it did when new. As you can see from the pictures the damage is fairly negligable. It could use a setup as the parameters that are changeable are far beyond me. It has a new set of DR 100-45 on it too. £500 + P&P The black tape is only electrical tape. It's there to help prevent busting my skin on the magnets (I dig in lots) and to stop the strings *POP*ing against the magnets when I dig in. Edited February 5, 2012 by Prime_BASS
charic Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I think you'd get more interest with pictures included with the request. Good luck with the sale
Prime_BASS Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 It's barely been on an hour. Ill upload some when I'm home.
charic Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I was going by the pics on request, just trying to help!
Jacqueslemac Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Is there some kind of rule that says natural wood body $$s only come up when I don't have the money for them? Having bought two Corvettes this month I really, really cannot stretch to a third!
Prime_BASS Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 picture added, pm replied to. sale price added. I realise that in this climate stuff is hard to shift so would like to help those who are struggling to shift stuff as long as they are realistic about what to get in return, if I sell on what I get I will most likely loose out and I don't mind. I enjoy playing not getting money for basses.
Jacqueslemac Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Have you any photos of the less-than-perfect areas, please? Does anything in my stable tempt you?
Prime_BASS Posted January 27, 2012 Author Posted January 27, 2012 I can email the ASAP have no other way of uploading unless I'm on my dads phone.... Honetsly I'd only be slightly tempted at the US* Jazz.

mcnach Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Beauty. I had one in Nirvana Black and looking at these brought back memories... Hmmm, the only possible swap I could do with be with my Fender Precision CIJ 70s fretless. Natural ash body, with unlined maple fingerboard...

MarkusWarwick Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Very tempted to buy this..... How bad is the neck scratch and buckle rash?
Jacqueslemac Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Do so. It's a bargain. And it'll stop me wondering whether I should!
Prime_BASS Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012
Very tempted to buy this..... How bad is the neck scratch and buckle rash?
It's barely visible in the photoes in post one so not OMG what has happened! kind of scratches. The buckle rash is only vuisible when you look at it, and when it's catching the light in a way to cast shadows. This won't be going any lower, so it either sells at this price or not at all.
Prime_BASS Posted February 4, 2012 Author Posted February 4, 2012 Al ot of bass for 500 punds here bump
