Musicman20
These are the new 'lightweight CONSTRUCTION' ceramic loaded cabinets. These prices are beyond good. I don't need a 4x10 but I want this one! http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/GenzBenzfocus.html

Musicman20
These appear to be made in their factory overseas then checked over and inspected at Genz USA. For the price, something had to give, and I bet they are excellent quality.

xgsjx
From the look of things, I take it the drivers are ceramic jobbies? If so, then that's about average prices for non neo cabs is it not?
Oldman
Well spotted Sherlock, that information was in the initial post. An excellent setup at the price from a good company, spot on for four strings. But then what do I know, I'm still searching for the holy grail in the form of a 1 x 10 Neo that drops to 30 Hz and fits in my pocket.... Musicman20
Crazy low prices. Check the new prices here: http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/GenzBenzfocus.html £385 for a lightweight 4x10?! I'd like a pair of the 1x12s. JTUK
Ceramics and cheap... and nothing wrong with that as such, but the EBS classic line is NEO and almost as cheap-ish.... so much for the price hike in NEO..!!! Not sure I like the idea of a EBS line going that cheap, IMO as I thought the whole point of it was excellence made in Sweden/Europe..?? Stag
Hmmm... Interesting, looking at lightweight next... Anyone tried them yet?
Musicman20
I think, although not 100%, that the EBS Classic cabs are ceramic but engineered to be lighter, like these cabs. As much as I'd like one of the 1x12s id rather have a high end stack or the Aguilar DB112s. Weight, when it comes to 1x12s, isnt a massive issue.
