Gust0o Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 (edited) All gone - congratulations to WavyDavy, but will now be enjoying this super bass. A pleasure to meet you Dave -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Up for a trade, as not being used - a bit too nice for my purposes! This is a mint condition European Spector NS-2J-AR, which I picked up in a trade last year. It's a stunning bass, 10/10 condition and easily one of the most accomplised players I've owned or played - typical Spector neck, brilliant build quality, BadAss I and active EMG J-pickups. It's one of a limited run, I understand, to celebrate the original NS2 - available in three colours, with 83 basses produced in each, with this being one of the natural finishes. Specs as follows:

Original NS-Curved Body™
Bolt-On 3 Piece Rock Maple Neck
Pearl Dot Inlays and Rosewood Fingerboard.
Deep Pocket Neck Insert
Active EMG™ J/J Pickups
Active EQ - 9v EMG™ BT
Chrome Schaller™ Tuners
Chrome BadAss™ Bridge
Chrome Dunlop™ Strap Locks
Brass nut
Weight: 8.3lbs
More information can be found here: http://www.spectorba...l_years_4E.html . Mudpup Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Interested in a straight sale? And if so, how much? Or a trade for a TC Electronic BG500 combo? Cheers
Gust0o Posted January 28, 2012 Author Posted January 28, 2012 Mud, not for sale... yet. Watch this space, I would say.
Mudpup Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Give me a shout as and when - i'm looking for a Euro 4 and this might do. Cheers
StevieD_FenderP2009 Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Just wondering mate, did you mean Badass 1 or Badass 2 because that looks like a BA 1 on there. Either way, still a stunning bass and one I wish I could afford Ps, up the Leeds and Marching on Together!
Gust0o Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 You know, I shall double check that when back home! Let's have a Marching On Together bump! Leeds, Leeds, Leeds!
Gust0o Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 Bumpage. You forget how busy the FS section is!
Gust0o Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 Dang nabbit! That said, get it posted in the porn thread - will be good to see what you got
Gust0o Posted February 2, 2012 Author Posted February 2, 2012 Well, I didn't want to put a price on it as I know cash is tight, and people are moving their old basses on to get their new ones - but then I end up with a Trade thread where the singular interest is for a sale. Guess I called this one wrong! I'll give it another week and then add a cash price.
Gust0o Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 I think I might try Lysdexia's approach to round up some more interest
Gust0o Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Either Spector's are out of fashion, and slumped in the bar drinking with the Warwicks, or I'm doing something wrong
SPACE-MONKEY Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 Hi, I've always wanted a Spector. Are you happy to post and can you tell me the weight of the bass please? Cheers
Gust0o Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 I'll get the scales out tonight. I'm sure I could post, as it comes with an appropriate hardcase - it's only with gigbags that I blink.
Gust0o Posted February 7, 2012 Author Posted February 7, 2012 (edited) My bathroom scales have been corrected, weight is c.8.3lbs. On the bright side, I think I can knock the diet off Edited February 8, 2012 by Gust0o
Gust0o Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 Bump. Trade is still the prefered option, but happy to negotiate on price.
Gust0o Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Mulling-it-over-bump. Some trade interest, but nothing back on the nail of what I was after yet.
