I bought this second hand three years ago so I don't know it's exact age. I used this amp full time most nights for 18 months in a professional duo / trio. It has been to Cyprus, The Alps and the south of France and has always worked perfectly, and has never let me down. The amp is in great condition. I have tested all the controls and inputs / outputs. Everything works and there are no crackles or noises. The only part not tested is the Speakon extension cab output, as I have no extension cab or Speakon lead. There a few very small marks on it that are difficult to see unless you look closely, and no rips, tears or holes. It has a made to measure foam backed vinyl cover which I have used to keep it protected during road transport. Sound wise, it's very clear, detailed and accurate with an very fast response, but still a good amount of solid bottom end. It's rated at 200W RMS alone, and 300W RMS if used with an 8 ohm extension cab. It's not massively loud, but enough for jazz or medium volume pub gigs. It has two channels, each with Active/Passive switch, gain, 5 band eq with 18db cut or boost. The master section has volume and and a variable limiter. If you gig with 2 basses you can set one channel up for each. It still has all the original packaging: two strong corruguated card boxes inside each other and thick foam surrounds to go round the amp. This packaging got it to Cyprus and back in an aeroplane hold perfectly safely. The outer box has a few minor dents, and I reinforced the edges with gaffa tape, but it's still perfectly serviceable. It also still has the user manual. Here is the info on the amp on the Phil Jones website http://www.philjones.../products/?id=9 The amp retails for £830. I will sell it for £400. Buyer can collect from Leeds, or I will courier it in the UK mainland in the original packaging, for around £40. I will get an accurate quote based on where the buyer lives. If you are near Leeds, feel free to come and try it. Cheers, Duncan
